Technical Recruiter

When you join Blue Ocean Ventures as a Technical Recruiter you will specialize in placing senior IT professionals across nearly all vertical industries. You will extend your reach beyond your candidates’ key work experiences to identify opportunities that truly fit their career interests, needs, and goals. You have two missions: to ensure 100% client satisfaction and to find the opportunity, flexibility, and stability candidates need to push their careers to the next level.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • The job requires a good understanding of the IT function and the various roles within an IT organization.
  • You must be adept at interacting with senior level professionals in their respective domains. Should have a good understanding of the needs, drives and motivations of potential job seekers beyond that of the ordinary.
  • 1-2 years of prior recruiting experience in the IT field preferred
  • Exposure to Executive hiring preferred
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft word / excel and meticulous in keeping information upto date
  • Strong social media presence and networking skills

Business Development Manager

When you join Blue Ocean Ventures as a Business Development Manager you will specialize in hunting and signing new contracts and working with BOV delivery teams to place senior IT professionals across nearly all vertical industries.As a Sales Leader, you are the key element that drives the growth of our business and delivers us to new heights! You are a specialist building lasting relationships and driving client engagement throughout the entire placement process. The workforce solutions industry is a multi-billion dollar per year growth industry that every company is a part of – from large, multinational organizations to start-ups to regional and local businesses. Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Responsible for successfully selling professional services in South-East market and beyond to targeted accounts.
  • New Business Development – experience as a “Hunter”, responsible for targeting new IT professional services projects at Mid-Large businesses and Fortune 50 clientele.
  • Experience in selling staffing services through effective cold calling and in-person visits, which foster a consultative relationship and increased business with clients.
  • Identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities. History of presenting to ‘C level’ executives of organizations and preparing formal proposals; conducting presentations, leading negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making process, and overcoming objections to closure.
  • Build, manage, qualify, and maintain a database of new clients and prospects that is aligned to the business opportunity in the market. Must be responsive to the customer needs and follow through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal.
  • Individuals should have a strong knowledge of staffing and technology initiatives and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Should have consistently met and exceeded weekly, monthly and quarterly goals.

Account Manager

When you join Blue Ocean Ventures as an Account Manager, you will be in charge of maintaining and expanding relationships with high valued customers. You will be responsible for achieving sales quotas and assigned strategic account objectives. You will represent the entire range of company products and service offerings to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Manage a team of IT recruiters.
  • Set productivity goals and enable team to achieve these goals.
  • Set G&Os for the team and review these regularly.
  • Do systematic account planning with revenue targets.
  • Generate new requirements from POC’s from existing accounts
  • Assign the revenue goals to team members.
  • Build contingency plans in case of demand shortfall.
  • Ensure compliance to defined process.
  • Ensure usage and compliance to the Applicant Tracking System.
